When Daren Was a Kid

When Daren was a kid he loved reading books on dinosaurs, chemistry, physics and unexplained phenomena, and he always believed there is a lot more to life than what meets the eye. It is no surprise that many of the kids called him “The Mad Scientist” as he would openly talk about his technical ideas filtered through an entertaining imagination.
When Daren was a kid he could gather large groups to follow his lead in games that he would make up on the fly. After learning guitar at age 12, Daren began writing songs immediately and sought out every opportunity to perform some impressive originals and even got some radio play at 15. On the side, he made model rockets from supplies purchased from the drug store and he would gather the neighbours to watch the show. What a hand full!
To this day, Daren keeps a folder with poems, stories and pictures given to him by people he inspired with his curious style and quirky honesty.
